These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the rules for visiting and using https://justpercent.com (the "Website"), including its percentage calculators, written content, and related functionality made available by Bilargo - Michał Lipski ("Bilargo", "we", "us", or "our").
By using the Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms and will comply with them. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are incorporated into these Terms by reference and should be read together with them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Website.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or product changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown above. The version published on this page is the version that applies at the time of your use of the Website. Continued use of the Website after an updated version becomes available constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Description of Service
The Website offers browser-based tools for percentage calculations together with supporting explanatory content. The service is intended for everyday informational and educational use. The calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser rather than being submitted to our servers, and no personal data entered into the calculators is sent to our servers during calculator use.
Calculator Disclaimer
Our calculators are provided as general utility tools. Although we aim to keep them working correctly, we do not promise that every output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances.
Calculator outputs are not professional advice. In particular, they should not be treated as financial, tax, accounting, legal, investment, compliance, or business advice. If the result matters for a contract, filing, payment, audit, or other decision with real-world consequences, you should check it independently and obtain advice from an appropriate professional where needed.
You remain responsible for how you use any result generated by the Website. We are not responsible for losses or problems that arise because you relied on a calculation without separate verification.
Limitations of Use
You may use the Website only in a lawful and responsible manner. You represent and warrant on behalf of yourself and any person or organization you represent in connection with your use of the Website that you will not:
- use the Website in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- use the Website for fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful purposes;
- collect, extract, or publish personal data belonging to others without a valid legal basis or their consent where consent is required;
- infringe another person's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, database rights, or other legal rights;
- interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or performance of the Website or related infrastructure;
- use bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, or similar automated tools to access, monitor, index, copy, or extract Website content without our prior written permission;
- send spam, chain messages, bulk unsolicited communications, or unauthorized promotions through or in connection with the Website;
- copy, adapt, translate, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code or internal logic of any protected part of the Website except where applicable law expressly permits this despite the restriction;
- remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice appearing on the Website; or
- reproduce, frame, republish, or mirror substantial parts of the Website on another website, server, or service without our prior written consent.
Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the Website and its contents, including text, code, layout, branding, graphics, and calculator logic, are owned by us or licensed to us. They are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other applicable laws.
We allow you to access and use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use. This permission is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. It is a license, not a transfer of ownership or title. You may download one copy of Website materials for personal, non-commercial reference only. If you breach these Terms, your permission to use the Website ends automatically and you must cease using and destroy any copied or downloaded materials in your possession or control.
Third-Party Advertising
The Website may include advertising supplied by external advertising partners, including Google AdSense. Those partners may rely on cookies or similar technologies, subject to your consent choices where consent is required by law.
We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, offers, or representations made in third-party advertisements. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Where you consent to advertising cookies through Cookie Settings, ads may be personalized. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of third-party advertisers before interacting with their offers. You can adjust ad-related cookie preferences through Cookie Settings and, in some cases, through your browser settings.
Free Access and Future Changes to the Service
At the time of publication, the Website is available without a subscription fee and may be financed in part through advertising.
We may change how the service is offered, including by adding paid features, premium access, usage limits, subscriptions, or other commercial terms in the future (collectively, "Paid Services"). We do not promise that every tool or feature will remain free forever, and this may include converting particular features or the entire Website from free, ad-supported access to paid access.
If we make a material change to pricing or access conditions, we will give notice on the Website before the change takes effect, including by a prominent on-site notice such as a banner, pop-up, or similar message where appropriate. Any new charges will apply only on a forward-looking basis and will not retroactively alter fees already paid, if any.
If you do not want to continue under a new pricing or access model, you may stop using the Website. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under consumer protection law.
Cookies, Privacy, and Data Protection
How we handle personal data and cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Those documents describe our data practices, legal bases where relevant, and the types of technologies used on the Website.
You can review or change non-essential cookie choices through the "Cookie Settings" control made available on the Website. Strictly necessary cookies may remain active because the Website cannot operate properly without them.
Limitation of Liability
The Website is made available on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we exclude all warranties, representations, and conditions that are not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, savings, reputation, use, or data, arising out of or connected with use of, or inability to use, the Website, even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss. To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability in connection with the Website or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) EUR 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful. If the law applicable to you does not allow part of the limitations in this section, those limitations apply only to the maximum extent allowed in your jurisdiction. In such cases, our liability remains limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
Accuracy of Materials
The Website content is intended as general information and is not a complete statement of any topic. Despite our efforts to keep the Website useful and current, some content may contain mistakes, omissions, outdated references, formatting issues, or calculation edge cases. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, likely results, or fitness for a particular purpose of Website materials. You should confirm important information independently rather than relying on the Website as your only source.
Third-Party Links
The Website may link to third-party websites or services for convenience or reference. We do not control those external resources, have not reviewed all linked sites or services, and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or data handling practices. A link from our Website does not mean that we endorse or approve the third party. You use external websites at your own risk, and we encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies before interacting with them.
Right to Terminate
We may restrict, suspend, or end your access to the Website if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, are misusing the Website, or are creating legal, technical, or security risk for us or others. Sections that are intended by their nature to continue after access ends, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law, will remain in effect.
Severability
If a court or other competent authority decides that one part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply. The affected provision will be interpreted, where possible, in a way that most closely reflects its original purpose while remaining legally effective.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous statements, communications, understandings, representations, or agreements relating to the same subject matter, whether oral or written.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations connected with them are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer, you continue to benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you habitually reside. Subject to those mandatory protections, the courts of Poland will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.
Dispute Resolution
If you believe there is a problem relating to the Website or these Terms, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved more quickly through direct communication than through formal proceedings, and we will try to address reasonable complaints in good faith.
Jurisdiction-Specific Provisions
The additional rules below apply only where local law makes them relevant. If there is any inconsistency between this section and the general Terms, the jurisdiction-specific wording will prevail for users in that jurisdiction.
European Economic Area (EEA) — EU Consumer Rights
Consumers in the European Economic Area retain any mandatory rights granted by the law of their country of residence and by applicable EU consumer legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms is intended to take away those rights.
The European Union's Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on July 20, 2025. If you are looking for consumer dispute help, you should use the consumer-protection or ADR channels currently available in your country of residence or through the relevant EU institution.
United States — State Consumer Protections
If you live in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of Poland to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, except where mandatory federal or state consumer protection law applies and cannot lawfully be displaced by contract. Nothing in these Terms is meant to waive rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
California residents may direct certain complaints to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210. This notice is provided in connection with California Civil Code Section 1789.3.
